I only camped here one night.  The stars were only out for a matter of hours and the next day I would leave this part of Northern Arizona and possibly never return.

No matter the subject in photography, the same truth remains: seasons change, special days come to an end, people age, and memories can fade over time.  The world continues to change around us along with the people inside it.  Whether I am shooting for my own personal enjoyment, a family event, or "on the job", this reality motivates me to sharpen my craft with every shot.  Photography is a career for me but it is foremost a privilege documenting lives and nature for generations to understand and appreciate.
