About Us

Before we tell you about us we would like to start by telling you about our clients.  When people compliment our work inevitably we have to turn the attention back to our clients.  You see, while the encouragement makes us feel good, we see our role as collaborators.  We couldn’t produce unique and elegant imagery without wonderful clients willing to take risks with us and share themselves as we shoot.

We specialize in wedding photography, corporate, family and senior pictures, often traveling to your destination to capture the perfect moment in the perfect place.  From The Abbey Resort here in Lake Geneva to the beaches of Lake Michigan in both Milwaukee and Chicago.  We will be there with you every step of the way to guarantee your special moment is captured for all time.

We feel most satisfied when we can paint a picture that accurately describes what a person is like. Here are a couple of great examples:

On the left, this image captures the raw emotions that often come on wedding days.  This moment blows me away every time. You can see Margaret is laughing and crying at the same time, Dad is choking back tears, the mother of the groom has a visible tear. While you can’t see mother of the bride, you know she is also experiencing that unique combination of joy and tears.

On the right,  I have never been so moved at a wedding as I was at this one. During the service they stopped to pray and the passion and love they expressed in front of all their guests really got to me.  To us photography is about people being real and then letting us paint a picture of that moment to remember it forever.  This is the story that matters most: real people, real stories, real moments.

I am incredibly blessed to have a team of seven photographers who each work with me on any given weekend.  Here is a recent photo of five of us.

As for me, I am an artist-photographer, businessman and most importantly a husband. Married to my college sweetheart for over 15 years, my wife has become severely disabled due to MS but we have a loving relationship and manage her disease and disability well.  Wanna know more?  Click here for a brief biographical sketch.
